Given an array `nums` containing `n` distinct numbers in the range `[0, n]`, return *the only number in the range that is missing from the array*.
Example 1
Input: nums = [3,0,1]
Output: 2
Explanation: n = 3 since there are 3 numbers, so all numbers are in the range [0,3]. 2 is the missing number.
Example 2
Input: nums = [0,1]
Output: 2

Constraints

  • n == nums.length
  • 1 <= n <= 10⁴
  • 0 <= nums[i] <= n
  • All the numbers of nums are unique.
Time Complexity
O(n)
